During June of 2010, I completed a weeks placement at "The Podiatrist". As a Podiatry student it was an excellent opportunity to be exposed to cutting edge technology and first class clinicians. During the time I spent with the team, I was impressed by the professionalism and knowledge of the Podiatrists, and found them to be some of the best I have learnt from. I would not hesitate to recommend "The Podiatrist" to family and friends in the Toowoomba region if they suffered from a lower limb complaint.

To Whom It May Concern,
I am a 44 year old male who since badly spraining an ankle when I was 16, has had an ongoing problem with both ankles ever since. The original and consequent damage of the first sprain led on to the spraining of the other ankle, and over the ensuing years the problem of rolling over on both ankles became worse and worse. I was spraining an ankle sometimes twice a month. In order to alleviate the severity of the sprain I had to concentrate all the time I was walking and this was difficult, as my line of work meant I was often walking on uneven ground. Things had got so painful that I was considering looking for employment in a position where I wasn’t on my feet so much.
My friend, Jenny suggested that I really should do myself a favour, and make an appointment to see Anne-Maree at The Podiatrist, as her daughter had been helped greatly by her.
I saw Anne-Maree for my initial appointment in mid March 2011, and returned a week or so later for the fitment of the orthotics.
From the moment I walked out of the Podiatrist the difference has been nothing short of incredible. My life has been changed. I now no longer feel constant pain due to inflammation from the repeated sprains to my ankles. In the couple of months that I have been using the orthotics, I have not once rolled on my ankles and I am once again able to run and jump etc without the fear I once had that I would be limping around for days nursing a sprained ankle.
I can’t recommend highly enough the help that I received from all at The Podiatrist, and special thanks to Anne-Maree Hanrick – you have made such a difference to my everyday life.
