PROBLEMS WE SOLVE

Foot Pain / Ankle Pain

Pain is not a normal part of life and shouldn’t be put up with or walked through. Pain is our body’s way of letting us know that something is wrong or isn’t working properly. It’s extremely important that you don’t ignore pain or discomfort in your feet or ankles. This problem may become longstanding and cause you to alter your walking style or activity pattern. With some conditions, it may even cause permanent damage.

Discrepancies in movement can have a chain like reaction on the upper body with compensation through the knees, hips, lower and upper back.  This imbalance can cause degenerative changes in these areas.

If you are concerned with pain, oddities or altered sensation in your feet, we strongly recommend you see us here at The Podiatrist.  If you notice unusual wear on your shoes, suffer with corns or callus or have a unique foot posture, an assessment will point you in the right direction for immediate treatment and long-term relief.

Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome

Tarsal Tunnel Syndrome

It describes as the painful entrapment/compression of a nerve (called the tibial nerve) as it passes through a narrow tunnel on the inside of the ankle (called the tarsal tunnel) which is created by the position of the bones and connective tissue.
Two weeks with Calcaneal Spur and finally got to see Doc. He sent me to Kevin @ Eleven and with One Appointment, he had me walking without Crutches. Yes! It still hurt. Did the Stretching, Rolling my Foot on a Spikey ball and Iced it occasionally. Return visit, after he had his Holiday, and I' am walking fine. They do NOT want to see me again, unless it deteriorates. Which it has not :-)
